Description
This is a rare and desirable Ruger Red Label 20-gauge over/under shotgun, chambered for 3-inch shells. This model is out of production and features a 26-inch barrel set. The top barrel is choked Modified (MOD), while the bottom barrel is Improved Cylinder (IMP. CYL). Both bores are bright and shiny.
The shotgun is in great condition overall, especially considering its age date of production is 1980-1981. The bluing and wood stock show minimal wear, as detailed in the photos provided. Notably, this shotgun predates the warning text roll-marked on more recent Ruger firearms, giving it a cleaner and more classic appearance. If you have any questions please reach out.
Additional features include:
- Steel ventilated rib with fine cross-cut serrations to reduce glare
- Well-crafted grip cap
- Ruger’s classic red recoil pad on the buttstock
Markings on the left side of the barrel breech confirm the 3″ chambers, visible when the action is open.
This is a fine example of a high-quality, American-made over/under shotgun that blends function and form it is perfect for collectors or field use
